Waist and Abdominal Liposuction for a 29-Year-Old Woman – Detailed Preoperative AssessmentMs. Wen, 29, had a relatively slim figure overall, but struggled with a persistent lower belly bulge and undefined waistline that made her feel uncomfortable in tight-fitting clothes. A full-body 3D fat scan was conducted during her preoperative assessment. The scan showed disproportionate fat storage in the lower abdomen and lateral waist, particularly around the iliac crest and under the umbilicus. Her BMI was within normal range, but her waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) was 0.87, outside the ideal feminine range (0.68–0.75). Skin elasticity and muscle tone were excellent, which indicated she would benefit greatly from liposuction without risk of sagging.
